1) Epic Application Technical Analyst - (1 opening, updated 9/08)
Technical Analysts are responsible for the development and testing of system reports, data conversion programming, and the migration of application data between project environments in support of hospital users and the software implementation teams. Working closely with the Technology and Support Services Supervisor, these individuals will be assigned to investigate technology related issues, understand the 3-tier Epic application architecture, and provide support in one or more areas including system queries and reporting, data migration, and interface program support using Epic administrative tools. Also, the Technical Analyst will have an understanding of data structures between systems and a general knowledge of HL7 messaging and formats.
In addition to the duties discussed above, they are responsible for the following:
Position Qualifications
- Achieve and maintain Epic certifications associated with their application area.
- Preparing details of requirements and specifications as needed.
- Developing and documenting workflows and internal procedures.
- 4 year college degree in related field required.
- Effective communication and interviewing skills.
- Must demonstrate basic project management skills to varying degrees (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan, etc).
- Computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 1 or more years of prior experience in healthcare delivery setting and/or hospital department preferred.
- Prior knowledge of EMR applications preferred, Epic application or current Epic certifications a plus.
- Reside in close proximity of Wilmington, DE (no relocation) and willing to travel over multiple days for Epic training and certifications.
2) Senior Network Administrator - (1 opening, updated 9/08)
Position responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of active network equipment and includes administration duties such as directory services, network address assignments, and routing protocols. Will have direct responsibility for the deployment of multiple wireless environments throughout a regional hospital facility. Will implement and support essential network technologies such as VPN gateways, intrusion detection, and anti-virus.
Requirements -

BA/BS in Computer Science or related field

3+ years experience as a Network Administrator.

CCNA and MCSA Certifications preferred.

Good writing and documentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure to meet scheduled & unscheduled deadlines.
